Why Buy the Lasertech Desktop Laser Cutter?
Mantech delivers, installs and trains operators on site — with 12-month parts and labour warranty and ongoing UK technical support from Halesowen.
Why Desktop CO₂
The Lasertech Desktop CO₂ laser cutter combines compact dimensions with genuine workshop capability — 80W RECI power, Lightburn control, rotary engraving and a complete UK supply package from Mantech.
Footprint
500 × 300 mm working area — the nearest UK paper equivalent is A3 at 420 × 297 mm — giving practical sheet capacity for signage samples, awards, prototypes and education projects without a large workshop footprint.
Laser source
Genuine 80W RECI glass tube as standard for clean cuts and detailed engraving on wood, acrylic, paper, fabric and other non-metal stock. Integrated air assist removes debris from the cut path for accurate, repeatable results.
CAD/CAM
Professional Lightburn CAD/CAM software is supplied with every desktop machine — import industry-standard artwork, nest jobs, control the laser and run photo engraving without additional software licensing.
Versatility
Rotary device included for cylindrical engraving — mugs, trophies, bottles and round stock — extending the desktop platform beyond flat sheet work.
Safety
Fully enclosed cabinet with safety interlocks — suitable for commercial workshops, colleges and training environments where operator safety and fume management must be addressed from day one.
Extraction
Vent-to-atmosphere extraction is supplied as standard. Purex and BOFA self-contained filtration upgrades connect directly to the machine for home, office and education settings where external venting is impractical.
Hobby engravers and classroom setups usually outgrow consumer machines on bed size, safety enclosure and software support long before they need a Pro platform. The CO₂ hub shows where Desktop sits against Pro and Large Format, and the parameter guide gives starting cut settings for the materials you will teach or sell with first.
