Kieran’s 3 Peaks Challenge Completed — Thank You for Your Support

Over Friday 11th and Saturday 12th September, members of the Mantech team completed the National Three Peaks Challenge in memory of our much-loved friend and colleague, Kieran Davenport.

The challenge took the team to the summits of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon / Yr Wyddfa, bringing together Kieran’s family, friends and colleagues for a weekend that meant a great deal to everyone involved.

Following in Kieran’s footsteps

Kieran completed the National Three Peaks Challenge in 2025. He loved the mountains, the outdoors and the sense of achievement that came from taking on a real challenge.

Following the same route in his memory felt like a fitting way to remember him. It gave those taking part an opportunity to spend time together, share memories and complete something that had been important to Kieran himself.

It was never simply about reaching three summits. It was about doing something positive in his memory and supporting a cause with a close connection to Kieran and his family.

Three mountains and one shared purpose

The challenge began with Ben Nevis in Scotland before the team travelled south to take on Scafell Pike in the Lake District. From there, they continued to Wales for the final climb of Snowdon / Yr Wyddfa.

Additional members of the team joined for the final summit, making the last stage of the challenge a particularly meaningful one. After three mountains, many miles on foot and the long journeys between them, everyone was able to finish together.

Completing the challenge was an incredible achievement, but the reason behind it remained at the heart of the weekend throughout.

The team completed the challenge over two demanding days and has raised £4,120 for Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team as of 14th September 2026.

Supporting Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team

The team undertook the challenge to raise money for Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team, a volunteer-led charity providing vital rescue services across Snowdon / Yr Wyddfa and the surrounding mountains.

Its volunteers give their time, experience and courage to help people in some of the most difficult circumstances. The charity relies entirely on donations to maintain its equipment, training and ability to respond when people need help.

As of 14th September, the challenge has raised an incredible £4,120. That response has gone well beyond what the team originally hoped for, and every donation will help Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team continue its important work.

A heartfelt thank you

We would like to thank everyone who donated, shared the fundraising page, followed the team’s progress or sent messages of encouragement along the way.

We are also incredibly proud of everyone who took part, along with those who helped with the travelling, organisation and support needed to make the challenge possible.

The kindness shown throughout the weekend has meant a great deal to Kieran’s family, friends and colleagues. It was a demanding challenge, but also a very special tribute to someone who remains deeply missed by us all.
