Results update live as you change each dropdown — no lookup button. If you see “No matching data”, try a different thickness or power level.
Recommended settings
Select a material thickness to view parameters.
Settings are starting points for Vector FL60–FL250/300 machines — verify on scrap before production. Compare models on the fibre laser hub, browse resources & tools, or use the CO₂ parameter calculator for engraving workflows.
How to Use the Laser Cutting Parameter Lookup Tool
Select power, material and thickness above — recommended settings appear instantly below. No separate lookup step; the tool updates live as you change each dropdown.
-
1. Select your power source
Choose a laser power level from the dropdown list (e.g., 1.5kW, 3kW, 6kW, 12kW).
-
2. Choose your material
Pick the material type from the dropdown (e.g., Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Brass, Copper).
-
3. Select material thickness
Choose the sheet thickness in millimetres (mm) from the available options for that power and material.
-
4. View your results
Cutting parameters appear automatically — speed, gas type, gas pressure, nozzle size, focus point, cut height and colour-coded cut quality.
Results include
- Speed (m/min)
- Gas Type
- Gas Pressure (bar)
- Nozzle Size
- Focus Point (mm)
- Cut Height (mm)
🟢 Green: Great cut quality
🟡 Yellow: Acceptable cut quality
🔴 Red: Average cut quality due to machine capacity limits
